Hope they also put Persona on PC, hell maybe some Shin Megami Tensei, but this game is great as well. As a port, I was not disappointed. As a game on its own, it's really good if you enjoy puzzle games because that is the core mechanic. The story is engaging enough as well. However, it shows its age in its limited choices that you can make even though there are still multiple endings. Regardless, I do recommend you get this game because it is fun and enthralling.. The gameplay's good, being both challenging and rewarding at the same time. The difficulty can get frustrating, sure, but with some tenacity (and maybe a guide here and there) it's not too bad.The real caveat to my recommendation is the setting and the plot. I feel like younger audiences really won't connect with the subject matter and main character, and aside from the namesake postergirl, there's really just not much for a younger crowd, which is a really nice change of pace from the persona series.Pick up Catherine Classic, it's a good one.. A solid puzzle game but the port ruins any semblance of enjoyment to be had. The original PlayStation 3 release is already far superior to this one nearly a decade later. The only positive of this game is that it is out natively on PC for purchase but why not just buy a copy of the PS3\/360 version for less than five dollars and emulate it or even just play it on console for a superior experience.Now onto the negatives,-Cutscenes are lower quality than the PS3 release. They look and sound far worse with lots of banding and artifacting. In addition, there is a technical issue with the game where cutscene playback is bugged which causes the cutscenes to look like they are running at 2fps like a slideshow.-Audio is downgraded all around, no matter which language you pick. It sounds as if all the audio in the game is coming from a tin can. If you happen to play in Japanese then prepare for random English dialogue while playing. There is also an issue with audio where you can barely hear any of it. It happens even when using stereo headphones.-Game logic is tied to framerate and SEGA has abandoned the port so expect even more issues in both gameplay and cutscenes. There is no ingame option to lock it either. Examples include drinks being used faster and enemies\/objects moving faster than they are supposed to. The whole game is affected by this and it would take way too much space and time to try and list all the issues that are made because of unlocking the framerate without adjusting all mechanics properly. They have attempted to patch this over time but it resulted in the issues stated above which means it is still broken.-Certain parts of the game still run at 30fps like the camera\/several animations\/arcade\/UI so it will be very jarring to watch\/play in addition to the broken game logic. Bugs that were not present in the original release make an appearance.-Features removed from the Coop portion of the game. Like player winning select.-They removed a heap of graphics options\t before the game released. The only options for graphics now are (Depth of field and AntiAliasing) as in whether you want to have it on or off, no choice of different options for either one.-The textures were poorly upscaled using an AI solution. A decent idea you might think to try and make the game new again by trying to bring out as much quality in the original textures but they pretty much put all the textures in the game through a quick express batch conversion without any sort of curation to see how everything ended up looking. A lot of the textures\/images in the game ended up turning into a giant blurry mess. -They also left parts of the tools they used to port the game in the games files.-They also left duplicate files for everything in the game like the original textures which you can directly compare with the blurry mess textures the porting team made as well as other assets that don't make much sense to duplicate.I'm only scratching the surface on the issues with this port but suffice to say I cannot recommend it.. I saw this game on sale and I thought, "Why not? I love Atlus!". So here is my simple and short first ever review:Main Pros:a-Great story. I can see Atlus making a movie adaption for this and that it would do well.b-The game's strongest point, arguably, is it's amazing, well-fleshed out characters. You can't help yourself but fall in love with them.c-The game has about 8 endings:1-Faithful True2-Faithful Good3-Faithful Bad4-Cheater True5-Cheater Good6-Cheater Bad7-Freedom True8-Freedom GoodThis game has a "Karma Meter" system in where the decisions you make and the answers that you give to questions presented to you can change the outcome of the plot. The last stage of the game forces you to make answers that can change your ending, so check the internet for an "endings guide" before going through with that stage.d-This game has amazing dub voice acting (as expected from Atlus). e-The puzzles were quite a lot of fun to solve and gave a huge feeling of satisfaction when you beat them. They can be extremely hard at times though.f-Decent soundtrack.Main Cons:a-The game's worst point is that it is short. The game's length is around 15 hours and that wasn't enough to flesh out the characters properly. Some characters barely interacted with each other! b-The controls for this game on PC are very meh. Use a controller if you can.c-The puzzles can get repetitive and boring.d-The camera can get quite glitchy at times, especially during puzzles.Overall:I give this game a 7\/10. It was a quite the fun experience in my opinion. Get it when it's on sale and you have money to spare.. This game is super awesome! If you are a Persona fan you should buy this!I wish they will port the Perosna games to the PC too!+ The story is super nice, i have not encountered any bugs at this moment!+ The game works super fine even on low end PC's, i have tried this on a old laptop.+ The gameplay is smooth!+ Graphics are super nice!+ The price is super good!+ The story has multiple endings, depends on the decisions you make ingame!+ Nice puzzle games, it puts your brain to work!+ Good jazz music at the bar!++ You need to act fast!
